Everything waits while I golf Art
Artist
Geeta Yerra
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On 140 Lb Paper
Description
I was sick for 5th week running with viral fever and some unknown infection, it kept me down without much activity for couple of weeks more. One day when I was lying due to weakness, I was hungry and very weak to get up and fetch
some food for me and then I rang up my husband, hesitantly.
He was busy golfing in the afternoon and immediately he responded to my call, '2 more holes to go, eat apple, drink milk or eat something from the fridge.' I could not get up from the bed and it was during that semi dream state the idea struck.
First I got the words 'Everything waits while I golf', I smiled to myself and then I pictured this scenario.
An honest confession would be, being myself a golfer, I approve of that mistress called Golf which holds back a husband.
This is an original contemporary art in watercolor by Geeta Biswas.
